Fun Solitaire plays similarly to the classic Solitaire game known as Klondike. A 44 card deck, consisting of cards from Ace to Jack (no Kings or Queens) is dealt onto the playfield. The remaining cards are dealt three at a time into three seprate stacks that can each be played from. If a stack becomes empty, it is automatically dealt to from the deck.

Cards can be played onto sequencially higher cards in alternating colors. Aces may be played on any of the four piles at the top of the field. Jacks may be played on any open slot on the field.

Points are scored for successfully placing a card from the deck into the playfield, and for moving a card from the playfield to one of the Ace piles. If all cards have been exposed and played onto the playfield, points will be automatically awarded for moving them to the Ace piles, at which time points will also be awarded for time remaining on the clock.
